Unforgettable Montenegro

Countries don't usually continue to occupy my mind long after I have departed. I travel slowly, take my time, and fully immerse myself in the culture and surroundings that I am occupying. This method of travelling usually leaves me completely satisfied with my experience and ready to move on to the next destination. But ever since I left this tiny but mighty country, I have had this constant urge to return.

Knowing that Montenegro was a fairly small country and one that you could literally drive around in a few days, I thought a 14-day road trip, with a few days on either side for good measure, would be more than enough. How wrong I was.

Ever-changing mountainous landscapes will leave you in awe. Seaside towns that could have been plucked out of a historical fairytale. Roads that wind and weave through endless land that never ceases to rise and fall from the earth. And local people will invite you into their homes and culture as if you were a distant relative.

Montenegro is an unassuming and unexpected country rich with adventure, experiences, and non-stop moments that will stay with you forever.
